What are the requirements to join?

 

The Alpha-Beta Chapter of Phi Sigma Rho accepts any undergraduate student who identifies as a female in a major recognized by the College of Engineering and Applied Science, as well as Industrial Management.  

 

How do I join?

 

Our chapter typically recruits early during the fall and spring semesters each year. We host a couple events throughout a given week where we get to know the girls who are interested.  We do not participate in Formal Recruitment at UC, however we do work closely with National Panhellenic Council to follow their recruitment schedule as well as participate in Bid Day at the end fall recruitment. What is the time commitment?

 

Our chapter holds weekly meetings as well as some mandatory events throughout the semester.  As engineering students we understand the importance of scholarship and we are happy to work around midterms, finals, and study schedules.

 

What is the financial commitment?

 

In the past, our active dues have ranged from $250 - $280 per semester. We work to keep our dues low and also offer a scholarship each year that girls may apply for to have their dues reduced.
